Meyerson Symphony Center. \nWe suggest arriving in downtown approximately one hour prior to your groups performance to allow adequate time for parking\, entrance into the Meyerson and seating prior to the performance. \nTEKS and Student Performance\nThe Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for instrumental music requires that the curriculum include instruction in appropriate audience behavior during live performances.\nAudience etiquette is based upon respect for the performers and for others in the audience and is a general expression of courtesy.\nUnfortunately\, young people are seldom exposed to formal concert situations and are often not aware of these standards of behavior. By following these guidelines\, you can set a positive example for our students and will make the concert more enjoyable for all. \n\nAvoid entering or leaving the concert hall during a performance.\nTalking should be avoided during a performance.\nAll electronic device notifications (pagers\, cellular phones\, and alarms) should be turned off or set on silent.\nUnhappy children should be taken outside the performance area immediately.\nRefrain from flash photography while groups are performing.\n\nVideo/Audio Recording Guidelines \n\nRecording of this performance (audio or video) is allowed for archival use only.\nThe unauthorized reproduction\, distribution and/or sale of such recordings is a violation of copyright law\, student privacy\, and district policy.\nIf recording\, please move to the back of the venue to not block other audience members from enjoying the performance.\n\nParking \nParking may be available in many of the regular arts district locations. \nThis parking information is provided as a convenience. Availability and cash/credit options are dependent entirely on the parking lot\, and is entirely outside of Wylie Community Band/Wylie I.S.D. control. \nMeyerson Parking Information | Meyerson Parking Map | Google Search\, Parking Near the Meyerson
